Working at Height

Working at procedures have come a long way since the 1930’s. The law states the purpose of The Work at Height Regulations 2005 is to prevent death and injury caused by a fall from height.

If you are an employer or you control work at height (for example facilities managers or building owners who may contract others to work at height) the Regulations apply to you. Safe Systems are required, adequate information, training and supervision. Some of the most common risks at events are reputational, physical, emotional, and facility (venue hazards), suitability for the event and the crowd expected for activity, loss or damage to equipment, venue security, the layout of the venue and how it affects crowd control at the venue.
